COME RAIN OR SHINE

If you do something come rain or shine, you do it regardless of the weather. The phrase can also be used in other situations, meaning “whatever happens” or “whatever the circumstances”. You sometimes shorten it to rain or shine.

EX:

The man sits at the newspaper standnear the gate of the parkcome rain or shine.

Come rain or shine, we set off together straight after breakfast.
